Except there were things I understood completely that still felt like a haunting.
I could know a boundary needed to exist and still feel myself overriding the no.
I could know I was safe and still feel Body responding as if something wasn’t.
I could know I didn’t have to carry everything and still have absolutely no idea how to put it down.
I could recognize the pattern while I was actively participating in it.
My mind knew.
And somehow… knowing wasn’t always enough.
So I stopped asking only: “Why am I like this?”
And started asking something entirely different:
Not what should be happening, or what someone else’s framework said it meant, not even what I could intellectually explain.
What was actually here? — That question changed the relationship.
I began discovering that there was an enormous difference between knowing something is true and Body being ready to live it.
I didn’t need another way to become more self-aware. I needed somewhere for everything I already knew to become felt.
And that became the beginning of FELT.
How to carry what needed carrying & be self-aware enough to recognize my patterns and strong enough to keep functioning through them.
I could explain why I reacted the way I did: where the pattern came from, what I should probably do differently…
I knew how to think something through until I understood it from every possible angle.
And for a long time, I thought understanding myself deeply enough would eventually mean I could live differently.
Your shoulders are halfway to your ears before you realize you’re tense.
Your jaw is clenched. Your breath is shallow. You’re exhausted, but the moment you finally lie down, you can’t settle. You walk into a room and something feels off before anything has happened. You know you don’t want to do something, but you hear yourself saying yes anyway.
You’ve had the conversation, understood the pattern, connected the dots. Maybe you’ve even spent years becoming incredibly self-aware, and still something in you hasn’t changed.
Maybe the problem isn’t that you need more information.
You notice the clenched jaw.
Instead of immediately trying to relax it, you become curious… You recognize the no before the automatic yes leaves your mouth. You feel something shift and don’t need to immediately decide what it means. You notice resistance without assuming something has gone wrong. You recognize that Body is communicating without requiring yourself to immediately translate the message.
You become capable of saying:
And staying long enough to meet it: not because you’ve learned how to perfectly read your Body.
Because you’ve developed a relationship with it.
X You want me to tell you exactly what every sensation means so you can become the valedictorian of embodiment.
X You’re looking for affirmations, butterflies and rainbows because you got high on oxygen after meditating for ten minutes and decided you’ve transcended the human experience.
X You “must” experience shaking, crying or release to prove your somatic practice “worked.”
X You want another authority telling you what your Body should be doing instead of developing the capacity to listen for yourself.
X You’re looking for a shortcut around discomfort rather than a different relationship with what is actually here.
→ You can explain yourself beautifully, but explanation hasn’t changed your experience.
→ You notice Body doing things you don’t entirely understand and want somewhere other than Google to meet them.
→ You’re willing to become curious before demanding an answer.
→ You want a somatic practice that doesn’t require Body to perform healing “correctly.”
→ You’re willing to meet yourself without demanding who you find.
After thousands of hours witnessing other humans, I know I wasn’t the only one living there.
→ What if you didn’t need another explanation?
→ What if you deeply understood how to remain in relationship with yourself while the answer was still developing?
→ What if resistance didn’t automatically mean failure?
→ What if stillness wasn’t something to fix?
→ What if you could recognize a no before overriding it?
→ What if you could notice an impulse without immediately obeying or suppressing it?
→ What if I don’t know yet became a place you could actually stay?
And what happens beyond the practice when that relationship follows you into:
The decisions you make, relationships you choose, boundaries you recognize.
The things you stop abandoning yourself to maintain, the truth you can finally feel instead of merely understand.
That’s the bigger conversation.
I kept seeing the same thing: we have become incredibly good at gathering information about ourselves. We can name our patterns, explain our attachment styles, even identify our triggers.
We understand our nervous systems, trace our histories, and sometimes all that context is extremely valuable.
But there is a difference between:
knowing something is true and
Explore how Body participates through pause, pivot, rest and reorientation and why changing direction doesn’t mean something went wrong.

This is important to note.
Body already talks.
You are learning how to become available to the conversation.
Sometimes Body speaks in sensation.
Stillness. Movement. Resistance. Breath. Heat. Tension. Softening. Tremoring. An impulse to move. An impulse not to. A feeling you cannot explain yet. Sometimes the conversation is loud. Sometimes it is barely perceptible. Sometimes something shifts. Sometimes absolutely nothing appears to happen. The goal is not to become better at producing the conversation.
The goal is relationship.
And one of the most important things I’ve learned is how much becomes possible when nobody in the room is commanding authority over Body. I’ve learned sovereignty through agency. Resiliency through relationship. I’ve learned to trust Body’s innate intelligence first, and to embody the courage to abide in its ask.
That is what I want to teach you. I’m not going to teach you what your Body has to say. Or tell you what state I believe it’s in. Or decide that what you’re experiencing must be because you’ve been affected by “trauma.” I’m going to teach you how to notice.
How to:
→become curious
→recognize Body’s participation without immediately demanding interpretation
→remain with “I don’t know yet” when that’s the most honest answer available.
→explore relationship with Body without turning embodiment into another thing you have to get right.
And I was exhausted by professionals claiming to be the expert on me.
I became someone I didn’t even recognize.
I knew how to explain myself, but I no longer knew how to hear myself. I knew I had to redefine what healing looked like. I knew I had to redefine my relationship with my body. I knew I had to learn how to listen to the only true expert on my body:
MEET YOUR GUIDE
You don’t need extraordinary body awareness or to meditate or to know how your nervous system functions. You don’t need to be more flexible or know how to name every sensation.
And you definitely don’t need to manufacture a response.
Curiosit is enough.
Being capable of holding yourself doesn’t mean every experience needs to be held alone. Sacred Witness is a private 90-minute FELT experience over Zoom. It’s space for you and Body to be met in real time while I remain available in the conversation with you.
Not to interpret it. Not to decide what it means. Not to tell Body where it needs to go. To witness what becomes available. If you choose this option, you’ll complete Sacred Conversation first.
Then bring whatever is here: questions, where things feel sticky, something you’ve noticed but haven’t been able to name, or simply your curiosity. & let’s witness it together.
i need to be there
Lifetime access to the complete self-led Sacred Conversation experience: 7 modules across 3 hours of video. A practice you can continue returning to as your relationship with Body develops.
Everything inside Sacred Conversation + one private 90-minute Sacred Witness session with me over Zoom.
Complete Sacred Conversation first, begin developing the conversation on your own. Then when you’re ready, shoot me an email and we’ll schedule time for me to “enter the chat” as witness, not authority.
Frequently asked questions
You don’t need to know what you’re looking for. You don’t need to know what you’ll find. You don’t need to make anything happen. You just need somewhere to begin.
You have spent your entire life living in your body. Maybe it's time to meet it.
Maybe you recognize yourself in this page, or you’ve spent years understanding yourself and quietly wondered why knowing hasn’t always been enough.
Maybe Body has been getting your attention lately, or maybe there is no dramatic reason at all.
Something in you just went:
huh.
Listen - I can’t tell you what your Body is going to reveal. I can’t promise you a breakthrough. I can’t promise you’ll tremor. Cry. Release. Feel lighter. Discover the origin of something. Or walk away with an explanation for every experience you’ve ever had.
To promise you those things, I would have to decide what successful participation should look like before your body ever gets a say + I won’t do that.
What I can give you is somewhere different to meet yourself.
Somewhere protection can be information, stillness can be information, movement can be information, rest can be information. Where I don’t know yet is allowed to remain a perfectly complete answer.
